I'll admit that he seems to be doing a good job of talking and smiling at everyone, but that doesn't exactly constitute peace, does it?

I don't really think that's true, but I do think he's being too passive with a lot of the issues he said he was going to change. It's perfectly within his power to force health care through (as the Bush Administration forced the Iraq War through by constantly drumming into people's heads that there was no other option), to repeal "don't ask don't tell" in the forces and all he seems to be doing is making speeches that sound good.... even f*cking China showed him up over environmental issues.... and then he "delays" meeting the Dalai Lama because he's scared of pissing China off. He's coming off like a fucking pussy.

He's going to have a very impatient world on his back soon... it's not even just his own country that he's got waiting for the US to catch up... I have a LOT of time for his style... he speaks with sense, his policies seem to be intelligent and I think he really is exactly the sort of thinker that should be at the top in America... but he needs a pair of bollocks to back up his rhetoric with action.

His secretary of treasury is the former president of the Federal Reserve, the central bank that is not apart of the government that was founded, among others, by a Rockefeller.

Much like the presidents before him, he will pander first and foremost to large corporations.

i cant call him a puppet cause thats misinformed but he really doesn't have much control when some angry bigot can get on the radio and spout utter nonsense and get half the congress to back the radio bullshit COMPLETELY.

if rush limbaugh told a congressman to kill obama, he probably would, its scary how much power that guy has over republican popular opinion. and they say the congress is "democrat controlled" but its actually more controlled by republicans because of the their constant whining and hissyfits over every single bill

does obama deserve the nobel prize? probably not, but people think the situation is a lot simpler than it actually is.
