recommend me some deep/soulful dubstep...

sup,

since starting to buy vinyl i can see i've been quite narrow minded in my purchases in order to get a good collection going of similar style dubstep. Ive kinda just bagged the cringiest, wobbly bassface bangers and commercial/well known tunes/remixes, not really ashamed to admit it cus this is generally what i love putting together in a mix and attempting to entertain people with.

however, when mixing doesnt always go right or i'm having a bad day with it recently ive turned to flipsides of the wobbly bassface bangers, and with my new baby (aka djm400) have been having some amazing mixes with these that i didnt even realise i had going for my record bag. off the top off my head these consist of tracks like: the others - splinter in my soul, subscape - artificial dreamer, orien - rainbow teardrops (< i know its a 'maxx-wobblez' bassline but i wouldnt called it a wobbler).

i know theres loads of producers out there for the chilled deep side of things, but the styles kinda a grey area for me and i wouldnt know where to start, i would appreciate recommendations for anything along these lines, preferably stuff availible on vinyl....

cheers for any input boyos, millski.

every plate is gorgeous.

other good labels for deep sound-

Tectonic
Hyperdub
Hotflush (can't believe Scuba hasn't been mentioned)
Hessle Audio
Apple Pips
Non Plus
Naked Lunch
Skull Disco

Pretty much everything on these labels is win. I would recommend DMZ but all the best releases are impossible to get. There are plenty more who deserve a mention, but this is a good start for the essentials...
