the dubstep scene in birmingham in my opinion goes against what the music stands for, corperate style parties are being run down at the med bar, which WAS a cool venue but now has been run down by the generic house parties....wac. don't get me wrong i like a lot styles of music but its gotta have soul! Thats enough negative vibes.....sorry!
There are still a few heads in brum and i have had the joy of going to a few cool parties. There was a dude called warlock who played in a warehouse mainly breaks but he wipped out some deep, dark bangers on the funktion one sound...big that was organised by the trigger bunch they like it big and loud!
I am part of a crew called whomanity and we have vibed a few parties in town we play though a fruit salad of styles but we do hold down our dubstep! we ran a night at epic skatepark which has now lost its licence....once again wac. we have managed to get a new night at a venue called THE HARE AND HOUNDS in kings heath(brum) which should start in october so look out for a night called UNDERLOCK the whomanity reppin big!
I was taken around a basement of a pub in brum which is gonna be turned into a venue cant wait to vibe in there very dark and very stinky at the moment tho....jus how we like it, ill bring you news when i can!
oh also boogie dave plays some deep d-step tunes look out for his bassync parties very chilled.
If theres any brum heads that want to play dubstep and vibe out some time get in touch!

I'm in Stafford...not much around at all.....this night in Kings Heath sounds like it could be promising......
I'm putting on a night but you'll have to wait until feb for it. It is a charity fundraiser for the new Deaf Cultural Centre opening in Ladywood.....It will have the biggest bass so far in the world as any deaf people attending need to feel the music! Ear plugs will be handed out at the door.....

SIIIIICK!!!!!
Big ups for that!! Mate of mine once told me a story about a deaf guy he knew being taken to a dubstep night, and being moved to tears by the fact that it was the first time this person had ever experienced music since he was deafened.
