Hey guys.. first time around here! hello! :p

Usually with styles of music you get associated types of things in other mediums.. specially visual art and often fashion. forming a cultural identity and all that i guess?
I'm just looking for what you think represents dubstep stylewise as far as visual art goes.. I've been looking at that artwork thread and there's some really great things there to chew on. Both what kind of art is associated w/ dubstep and what kind of art *should* be.. ;) like what would a painting have to look like to give you the same feeling you get from your fav track.. if you know what i mean?

a bit weird i know..
the reason for posting this is i have to design skateboard decks for school and we need a theme.. i thought it would be cool to make them look like dubstep haha.

lemme know your thoughts! :)

I've made five imaginary dubstep albums. The covers look like this:

- An oil painting of peasants shotgunning Red Stripes on a haystack.

- A dozen newborn chicks arranged around a chocolate egg with headphones and a crown of thorns.

- Jo Brand's face on the front. Jo Brand's arse on the back. Horrorstep.

- A parody of the Bran Flakes box with Dub Step replacing the words Bran Flakes. The space between Dub and Step is a key feature of this design, representing the unbridgeable chasm between human experience and the underlying structure of reality. It sounds like Kode 9.

- Haile Selassie wrestling the Kray twins naked in a swimming pool full of mid-range cack.
