hey everyone,

I'm sure everyone is getting sick of explaining this, but could someone please just step by step tell me how to create a plain sine wave in logic's ES2 synth? I can't find out how to do this... and i can't seem to do it myself!

thanks

arghh might as well be productive for a change. open es2. turn off two of the oscillators (makes them close). turn the one remaining oscillator to the picture of a sine wave (google image if you don't know what it looks like). turn off the effects etc, because imo these just work to mess it up, better to have a pure banging sine. voila a sine. can change pitch there, or just play it lower the piano roll. then you have all the vectors for modulation but that is later i guess. another way is to open the exs24 sampler, and just don't do anything - again a pure sine. logic ftw.

exactly:

1. close es2.

2. open exs24.

done.
