Not sure if you can call this dubstep or rockstep or what .. just my attempt at getting a pink floyd classic remastered over 140bpm. hope you like it.

I really enjoyed it until it got to the guitar solo... I was actually expecting you to bring in some FM wobbley dirty and distorted bass.. Still though, very good attempt! Thank you!
also check out my sound cloud :
www.soundcloud.com/parvata and check the track called "rockin n grindin" it's sort of "rockstep"
cheers

I can definitely appreciate your take on the guitar solo. I had to decide how i wanted to treat that solo and ended up going for a synth that kept the guitar feel and sound. Last thing I wanted to do was piss off 1000s of PF fans. If you look up PF remixes on youtube you will find dozens of tracks with hate spam all over it. So I guess you can say this is more of a PF track then it is a dubstep track. Still, I needed to get it to dubstep as close as I could yet keeping the original values of the track. Im still new at this - only 7-8 months into producing, so expect only bigger things to come. feedback like this only helps speed up the process
I checked out your mix and it sounds nice, i like how this sounds. what app do you use for production?

thanks duder..
I use reason 4 and logic 8 ... lately I have only been using logic... and maybe sometimes reason for the wobble bass.. I'm liking the es2 synth in logic though. I have been producing "dubstep" for I think a few months maybe?? But coming up with melodies or sounds isn't very hard.. what's hard is making something that a larger group of people would all love enough to buy.. that's a challenge for sure..
big ups man!
