rock bars/clubs/concerts in london pls

eh...
will be visiting london 05-10th of november and I'd love to catch some indie rock gig or something like that.
i'm into stuff like the smiths, sonic youth, pixies, the cure, slint.. etc
id really appreciate any idea about clubs that normally have this kind of stuff or concerts around that time.
a website offering a decent agenda would be helpful too.
i know where the dubstep is at, pls show me to the rock bar

The Silver Rocket Club is a good shout... lots of Pixies/My Bloody Valentine/Smiths style bands play, but no big names - although they have DJs afterwards. There's normally plenty of artschool girls in there with weird haircuts. It's two Fridays of the month, I think.. possibly at two venues. Buffalo Bar in Highbury is one of them.
Try White Light at the Lexington near Kings Cross on a Friday night too.
Or if you want to get mainstream try Koko in Camden for Club NME or something. Make sure you've scouted out your escape route.. I can't last more than 15 minutes in there.

hmmmm.... maybe i should start listening to indie and looking trendy, as it stands im a scruffy stnuc who likes dubstep and death metal

lol isnt that the goth pub??? my sister practically lives in there...
yeah i s'pose anywhere in camden is pretty much a 'white dudes with long hair and guitars' sorta scene!

think between shopping and indie bars ill practically be living in camden for the period.
just dont wanna end up listenin to travis or goth or heavy metal or bon jovi.
