was wondering if someone could help me out. i hear a lot of similar sounding chords used in grime and sometimes dubstep tunes, but tbh my knowledge of theory and chords is close to nil. so what type of synth chords get used often in grime?
an example

song is "tempered" by rustie. the chords that drop a bit into the song are similiar to what im talking about.
any help is appreciated!

suppose it's like a chord, the 808ie bass drum is kinda making a chord with the bass line.

Word. Bring back summer!
PS. They are single notes, what makes them grimey is the square wave esque quality (not to say it IS a square wave) and the portmento
