I would consider putting a limiter on the output of the mixer... just incase some drunken mixing session with friends destroys your cones...

or just set the gains between the mixer and monitors right so its impossible to overdrive...

i went to bar/club the other day and they had two krk's rp5's and two other monitors i didn't recognise spread throughout the bar. bit budget.
good tunes tho.
