Things getting censored

certain words have been banned to help reduce/eliminate spam. not a direct assualt on free speech.

we'll see if it works out.

I would ask what's been censored but it's a bit pointless as it'll end up as

and all the spammers would also know.

as usual my not using smilies manages to hide a joke.

the whole point of spammers spamming this forum is to get google hits. if we mess up their little plan and turn everything into a bunch of stars or reversed words then they'll get the picture very quickly that it's a waste of time to hang out here because they won't get google ratings out of it. i'm talking about the real human spammers that come in here and pick a forum and blast away, not the bots which we can't do anything to stop, short of shutting down registration all together.

i think you'll find that the banned words have absolutely nothing to do with dubstep. they've been careful chosen, and as someone's said above, it wouldn't do any good listing them for all to see.
