but this is something i noticed:

i want people to make orignal bass heavy dance music.
identikit dubstep 101 tunes are the bandwagon and the bandwagon can burn.

i have to say i haven't been into dubstep that long, and i don't mainly focus on it either.
let's say it's just a small observation, dnb has been going bad for a few years now in my opinion, and i'm just wondering what the influence will be where it states now and how it reflects on dubstep.

I can't see what the problem is.
People want to make music and create, big deal.
There is no point getting all political and precious about a 'scene'. Everyone has influences and these are always going to surface in their creativity (nothing is original blah, blah, blah).
Dubstep isn't owned by anyone..it's free and open to interpretation.

if people interpretated a sound and add to it creativly, that all cool.
its people who copy the sound (i.e. how do you make dubstep wabble bass? whats a normal dstep drum pattern, what tempo should dstep be at etc etc), then they go away and produce a dubstep 101 tune, and then prolly relase it cause any tnuc of a label will put out the new cool sound.
thats what bugs me....and its what the dnb and breaks people are doing and its what killed there scene's, minus the people who created/moved the sound fwd.
it happen to punk, mersey beat, new wave, and a thousand more and it will happen here too, minus the creative orignal producers.

I think the main DJs in dubstep, who to a large extent determine what tunes blow up within the scene (I might be wrong), haven't lost it yet like a lot of big DNB DJs seem to have done and will by and large play the quality stuff, eliminating the pretenders survival of the fittest style.
You can jump on a bandwagon but if you're carrying shit in your pockets people will smell it and to will kick you off it.
Although I do wonder if this infectious enthusaism about dubstep might result in mediocre tunes getting stupid reactions at nights.
