Carbon Logic Competition Winners ( http://www.dubstepforum.com/carbon-logi ... 99841.html ) will play alongside an all-star lineup of headliners working at the cliff face of today's progressive bass music scene. Expect a collision of supreme dance floor bass, mutant hooks treading the fringe of the splintering dubstep scene!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hyperdub supremo, JOKER is warmly welcomed to destroy the dancefloor with infectious hooks and sweeping basslines. Pioneering a starburst of hard-edged synth grooves and halfstep swing rhythms, he shows us why he’s one of the most keenly observed producers of the UK right now.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
One of the brightest minds from the first wave of dubstep producers, JAMIE VEX'D has always stood head and shoulders above the crowd. With his amazing 'In System Travel EP' landing mid-2009 Jamie has shown us why his sets are so hugely anticipated, switching up styles from sci-fi epic sounds with bombing synthlines to is own unique take on the Purple Wow sound.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BRACKLES, bass bounce and febrile rhythm mechanics made for the dancefloor. Jamming garage, grime and this future sh*t together in ruffneck-syncopated harmony.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BLUE DAISY – “London’s best kept secret” (Boomkat). Bringing a unique offspring sound of Flying Lotus and Burial. Off beat 2 step with luscious side-chain of rhythm and texture, coupled with catchy vocal hooks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Synth driven dubstep from HYETAL, who was picked from the cream of the crop for the Planet-Mu Mary Anne Hobbs compilation. 8-bit melodies with deep electronica dubstep rhythms.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Carbon Logic favourite BARBARIX with Sci-fi Glitch infused dubstep, taking influences of hardcore and drum and bass in his own unique experimental take on the dubstep sound.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bristol-based Season Five collective bring their dub-techno, deep dubstep sound to room 2. Welcoming guest minimal dnb star INSTRA:MENTAL, who’s prolific productions have been taking dnb in a whole new direction. With new releases on Appleblim’s label, Applepips, there’s no stopping them.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Carbon Logic is an online music community celebrating its 3rd birthday with the pre-release party for the Grassroots Dubstep EP and the Grassroots Dubstep Compilation LP.

Ez,

For any of you that entered the Carbon Logic Grassroots Dubstep Competition. Thought you might be interested that the pre-release is available, they’re doing a Gemmy Remix:

YOU CAN PRE-ORDER HERE http://carbonlogicrecords.co.uk/preorder007.html

These were the tracks I put on there (didn’t get in the release though!):

Met Pete the guy who runs the site, good bloke. Worth checking Carbon Logic out if you haven’t already.

Cheers
