Hey peeps how's it going?

thought i'd start a thread to get the opinion of people on where they think dubstep is going as a genre? who's next to break through? what sub-genres are emerging and what not!

GO!!!

no offense but threads like this come off like some viral marketing narc business.

if you wanna know how the ""sceeeene"" is going , go to a show, talk to real people, or read a bunch of threads.

Well as a genre its continuing to grow at a fast rate which in time will slow down, who knows when. But so many sub genres are being formed and it so diverse at this point the term dubstep covers so much musical styles.

I think the Harder Dubstep is getting alot of attention especially the Rottun Crew from my area which Im digging alot. Excision & Datsik have been blowing up this year and show no signs of slowing down in 2010. I also like the deeper stuff Like Synkro, Indigo and Kito which is totlally different but I still awesome.

In 2010 dusbtep will grow and get more mainstream attention(its inevitable) but it will always be an underground scene. The scene will become more divided as styles grow further and further apart but still will be under the dubstep genre.

Oh and Britney Spears will work with Rusko and release a Christmas song for the Soundtrack to Jingle all the Way 2 Starring Arnold Swarzanegger and 50 Cent
