Generally the larger events are on saturdays, but these are pretty huge too.

There's a night on the 27th August at The Croft with PHAELEH / KOMONAZMUK / ASIAN HAWK / COMMUNITY SKRATCH TOUR / DROKKR. Most of the big names will be at all these two-bit festivals, minus Outlook of course.

But September is looking massive with the likes of Cluekid, Magnetic Man, Kryptic Minds, Distance, Redlight, HENCH, Starkey, Ben UFO. Just use Facebook, it's pretty good for all these upcoming events mate.

Gahhh this kind of threads make me feel so gutted for not living in the UK. Most of the nights posted would be the party of the month here in San Francisco. Gahh the things I'd do to see Shacketon live...

Hey, I am going to Bristol for a week or two(11-20jan) and wanted to know if anyone knows dubstep/bass events to recommend?
Never been to the UK before and I have no idea where to start looking.
I'm looking for BASS not brostep.
Really low sub bass music.

check out http://www.headfirstbristol.co.uk/ usually all the good stuff on there. Dubstep nights are few and far between now to be honest. Everyone's pushing that house thing since Julio Bashmore went big.

Check out a night at The Thekla called Y.O.L.O.

Dubstep-wise They have N-Type and Compa this month. Plus Rattus Rattus, DJ Hazard, Royal T etc.

I'm a Resident for YOLO, it's looking serious this term with a wide range of guests. The N-Type show next week is looking to be huge, its pretty cheap as well. Get down there (its def way more bass orientated and has moved way passed brostep).
