Hi .. need some new active monitors for production and Djing at home..
most I can afford is £300, which speakers would you recommend?
Im currently looking at:
Alesis M1 Active 620
Behringer Truth B3031A
Samson Resolv A6
KRK RP6 G2
I dont really know much about monitor speakers.. I just want something that sounds good for production / is loud enough for home mixing, and generally sounds nice with decent bass!
Thanks guys

Take a cd of your favourite tunes/tunes you (production wise) know inside out to a shop and test how all the monitors in that price range. Thats the best way to choose mate. Don't listen to what others say, go and listen to them yourself. A lot of people go for krk's thinking they are awesome but they don't give a particularly flat response.

around 300UKP you might be able to find dynaudio bm6's, which blow any of the aforementioned ones out of the water.

A "Shade" over? They are nearly double what he wants to spend
I can recommend the Alesis M1's mate. 520's if your room is small 620's if its bigger.

Straight groundhog's day up in this bitch. You have to answer correctly to be let out of the thread, otherwise it's going to keep coming back.
