I been to a lot of dubstep shows and last night at LA's Pure Filth party known as Bassface ...Nosaj Thing was headlining under Joker. I mainly went to see Joker and was not prepared for what Nosaj Thing had in store for us that night. That was probably the best live set I have ever heard. Absolutely flawless. It didn't feel played out, it didn't think "oh he's just playing all the well known hit tracks". Nothing like that. It was a true musical journey that delivered so much more and more. It left you at the end only wanting more. I wish that set never stopped. I wish it was recorded. Honestly I just want more. I'm not saying Joker was bad either, of course not. If I had to choose though. Nosaj Thing stole the show and I could tell by the crowd's vibe that I was not alone.
So please dubstepform, hook me up. Some links to choice mixes of his would be appreciated or anything else you think I might find of interest.
And if you happen to be reading this Nosaj Thing, thank you for one of the most memorable nights in my history of attending.

Check out the hip-hop forum here for similar artists or investigate glitchhopforum.com - they should have you covered.
If you're into Nosaj, you should probably check us out regularly. Jeff Weiss covers LA beat/bass music better than anyone save Mary Anne Hobbs. And if you liked his set I heartily recommend his debut "Drift".

yes i came in near the end of nosaj's set and was surprised by how heavy the bass was, and it was definitely a style i haven't come across, like a more experimental / ambient style than pantyraid or glitch mob... but with some of that style influenced for sure. Joker killed it as well the set was hour and a half filled with all of the good joker tracks with some bomb new ones, TRON vip , digidesign VIP, could this be real - sub focus (joker remix) was awesome, i could go on and on...
glad to see a thread about the show on here, it was fukin awesome the bass was out of this world

I know recently he's been messing with amazing visual effects that react to his set's and has been trying new things. I could only imagine what his sets are like now. This dude has been takin over more and more since day one. it really seems like he's not slowing down. his last album was right on!

Thanks for the heads up, I just downloaded his XLR8R set in Itunes after reading this thread.
Would like to find the download to his live set at Redcat I read about but can't seem to find that one.
