I shouldn't worry about it. I've never heard it and I've lived in the UK all my life.

Slang. When a person is insulted or dissed it means they have been parred.

Before I lived down south and in London I used to talk in a thick geordie accent with a broad dialect that only the Scottish and Geordies could understand. My accent is still there but more diluted and I have a mish mash of geordie / london / portsmouth and northumbrian dialect... only really comes out when am pissed.

Good thing about having a geordie accent in london is that it gets you laid easily

Not just london though, pretty much anywhere further south than middlesborough. The southern girls fucking love it.

It's impossible to keep up with kids street slang these days, better to just speak proper english and keep the slang to a minimum. Or you risk the danger of sounding like that guy in phoneshop :)

I hadn't heard this until Plastician started using it every 3rd sentence.

Plasticman: I think this might be a par.

In the game of golf, each hole has a number of shots that you should be able to get the ball from the tee into the hole.

This can range from 3, up to around 6. This number is known as the par.

Hence, if you were to get the ball in the hole in 4 shots, on a par 5 hole, then you could be said to be one under par. This is also known as a birdie.
