one of the reasons for hanging hereabouts
after the acme of ds & its slow demise,
is the ability of ninjas to effectively discriminate,
to differentiate in favour of substance rather than image.
...to recognize depth and appreciate authenticity
which doesn't necessarily criticize quirky projections
but sees thru shallow attempts to impress or emulate.
whether this is an attribute of true steppas
or those dedicated to the stepping underworld,
i know not
but it is, for me, endearing.
