Bassicly, im trying to get this certain vocal effect.
If you listen to stewies voice as he's talking, theres a weird effect on his voice, like it sounds like the sound is being sucked out before he says somthing if you get what i mean?
Does anyone know how you would do that?

There are a few ways the achieve this sound, but the way i remembering doing it was by the use of reverse reverb set up in reason, hence why that like air sound comes 1st (tail) and the the source of the sound.

Yeah reversed delay. You can do it with any DAW.

Yeah see i tried, reversing it, applying reverb / delay and the reversing it back round, but the sound still just starts at the usual starting point....

Yeah but cut the reversed reverb and put it in front of the start of the voice (or whatever).

reverse reverb.
get your sound. reverse it. apply reverb. reverse it again.
also works with delay.

just saw this... you have to export the sound with the reverb on it, then reverse that. in something like cubase its a piece of piss cause you dont actually have to bother exporting properly, in reason or something you need to export the lot, then stick it in a sampler.
