irrespective of hype you are talking out of your ass

and he gets better and better

what exactly is it that you feel is missing from his music?

it has unique production and space.....it has soul in a way no other dubstep does....it is more evocative as well...

it's not supposed to be a chevron action flash...it's deep and something to be pondered on...do you like kryptic minds?

This B word should just be banned on this forum, he's not even dubstep for starters. honestly, his music is just well, boring to be honest. I'm a hater yes, but a hater of boring music is aceptable!!!

I don't think you're a hater...you don't like burial...hatin is something different...

tbh though if you find it boring i'm surprised you like the original sound of dubstep man

do you like digital mystikz, loefah, pinch, horsepower, kode9 etc etc??

he's far from boring....what do you mean by boring?
the lack of an obvious bassline?
not aggro enough?

the way he weaves all these different sound sources together to be greater than the sum of their parts is frankly stunning...

u r a fucking nonse and should be banned from this forum, burials a don.

i assume you are a borgore man? and that your definition of dubstep is a 140 drum beat with a snare on the third and some chainsaw noises over the top. Burials music is anything but boring.

ok i've read the defense-replies.

let's get one thing straight shall we? something we can all agree on? burial is IDM. if you asked anyone in the street, he'd get tagged IDM.

I've never heard anyone use IDM outside of the Internet in my entire life. I don't even know what it sounds like.

i heard it too, was very impressed.

i do have to say though that the bbc seem to put some really good tunes on on a regular basis. surprisingly countryfile is one of the best for it. true fact!

all dubstep is if he is man..

'IDM' has a hugely diverse variety of sounds within it...

what it usually lacks though is feelings....i always refered to aphex, squarepusher, boards of canada etc as electronica...

burial has savagely low bass and amazing percussion...it's deep meditational bass music....it very much fits into dubstep....skream has 2 step tunes as does benga

This. IDM is the most vague label i've ever come across.

Burial is the don. He took dubstep to a whole new level, the influence of garage, his use of samples, just the general atmosphere every single track creates, it's something no one had done or has done since.
