Just confirmed, Moldy will be opening for Sub Swara! You don't want to miss his bass thumping, intelligent dub step that will definitely get the room bumping!

missed moldy, got there right as sub swara was starting. what was that thing your mother told you about saying something if you have nothing nice to say? actually ended up leaving this early.

EDIT: i'll keep it constructive: random tempo changes, puzzling selection, and a sound that can best be described as sounding like an fm radio turned up too high (piercing midrange and drowned out treble/bass). nothing like sub swara's (excellent) coup d'yah album.

^ Sorry you left with that impression. We had a hell of a time trying to get a balance of sound and volume out of the Harper's soundsystem-- something that apprently they've struggled with before, as the room is tuned great for bands putting forth a bunch of midrange sound. At that point, our hands are tied and there's really nothing we can do but plow along and try to fit our 10lb bag of sound into the slot that's just meant for 5.

Thanks for coming out regardless and hope to see you in Boston again soon.
