Easy people, little heads up.

Back in 2002 when (Plastician was still known as Plasticman) I had my first release on Slimzee's Slimzos Recordings record label.

As some of you may know, this release is stupidly rare nowadays - I own one copy of it myself which is battered to fuck and I could probably count on one hand the people I know who still have a copy to this day.

Over the last 4 months I've been trickling out previously unreleased Plastician tracks on my 21st Data record label, which has become available on most digital retailers - and also makes the releases available in Wav, Aiff, Flac and many other lossless formats.

On 21st December 2009, The Label will be re-releasing my fist ever 12" release -

AA: Shockwave

It may not be the cup of tea of most of today's average dubstep buyer - but definitely one for the nostalgics out there who've been attending nights like FWD since 2002 and will remember my early gigs there.

I've re-mastered both of the tracks (I re installed the first ever version of Fruity Loops on my PC to do this, and luckily have everything I've ever made on fruity backed up!!) so they should sound nice and clean if you plan on playing them out. Back in 2002 I knew fuck all about mastering or file compression, and would not be surprised at all if the original 12" was mastered from an MP3!!!

Nah I never had waves of any of my early stuff, I have re-installed Fruityloops 3 and re-opened the original fruity files, tweaked the mixdown and exported as WAV.

Its like the digital music equivalent of exporting the original film reel of E.T. onto dvd format

sick. Venom was the first of ur tracks i ever heard. Cant believe it was so long ago, feel bare old now. Lookin fwd to any other classic releases! Big up

Awesome news...is there any plans to release Retro on the 21st of any month. Have got all the one's so far but was wondering if that tune was on the agenda?

There's supposed to be an album of remasters and remixes of the old Plasticman tunes, but given that in about March 2013 Plastician said it would be 'a big release this year', it's been incredibly slow in coming.
