what's your verdict for the rising names of house/uk funky/uk house/post-garage in 2010?
i'm feeling roska, uncle bakongo, joy orbison, cooly g, julio bashmore, lil silva but they're all a bit obvious.
anyone got some mad obscure tips?

I think I am going to be slipping down the deep house route in 2010, probably away from the more funky aesthetic, however, I do think that Julio, Doc Daneeka, Tom Mosca, Bok – Bok etc will be making some dark dark dark bangers so, they are my choice, as well as
Jam City
Funky Hackmann
Deep Teknologi (how nobody said these guys is beyond me)
Cooly G
Breech (Ben Westbeech) (check out “no father”)
Scratcha DVA
Leif
KDJ
Dom Haywood
XXXY
Ill Cosby
The 140 side of things
Ikonika
LV
Whistla/Littlefoot/M2J/Sines/The L2S Team
Spatial & The Infrasonics
There is more, but that’s all I can think of now & I have to get back to work

Bashmore, Daneeka, Hot City and Hackman are gonna do pretty well I reckon - all of 'em are doing something unique but still accessible.
On a more underground tip xxxy, Bok Bok, Scratcha and Mosca are all set to go up a level and there's a bunch of very intersting unsigned folk bubbling too..

safe, nice mix for curbcrawlers by the way!
yeh that label has such big potential i think.
hackman and greena are good additions, and deadboy.
i'm not sure how untold will progress,
i really liked that gonna work out... ep when it was first released, but
a bit bored of the same sounds now (doubt many people share this view)

yeah i never really got it tbh
i'm always a bit wary of the 'but it sounds good on a big system' argument... most dance music does, or should

haven't liked anything by Untold after Sweat/Dante..
The Hessle EP is still his best work IMO.. that vinyl is a romper stomper.
New stuff sounds like a rebore Wiley on crack
