its true. we need to moderate ourselves and lock spam threads like all the other sections do. im guilty of posting a tune here myself. i got all overexcited that there was a hiphop forum and posted a tune, then realized it was in bad taste. but no one said anyting and it never got locked... in fact most people are responding well to people posting dubs.

ive actually been thinking about posting a thread for hiphop dubs people want to give out so we can cease the spam situation. what u think?

Yeah thread for dubs, tune ID etc etc this place could do with a bit of order... I reckon this forum has still tipped me off first about heaps of shit, so i still follow it... but in general i have lost interest in dubstep forum due to spam.

dubs topic, but moderated, so no dubstep and stuff, no spamming crap

theres nowt wrong with sharing music etc.. but with forums you can tell when its not working when you have hundreds of threads with only 2 or 3 responses.

sub forums would be very useful at this point indeed.

ahh the age old debate, what is this music we listen to, make, yet cant define. but ya there is not really a place for this stuff other than dsf hiphop. im on glitchhopforum as well and thats not even close to whats going on over here. not that its bad but its more focused on that westcoast glitch sound rather than the overall umbrella of weird hiphop wonkey step fuckery.

ill fire up the dsf hiphop dub thread in a few. maybe a few others, tune ids, releases, blog lists, basically all the self promo stuff. any others im missing???

i think its cool. there are more people out there reading it than are writing on it and for them its about keeping in touch with whats going on

with all the free forum hosting companies out there, all one would really need is a catchy name that would make it easy to find and some trustworthy moderators to make it happen... jus' sayin'

no can of worms, its a legit question. and i like the idea of a new forum but i have no idea what a good name would be. im not creative with words (hence why i make music).

10 years ago i'd probably post on one forum. now i check 5-6 forums and post when the urge takes me. unfortunately extended debate occurs less. shit happens.
