Living 2000 foot up a mountain in Wales and having to walk downhill to get anywhere in the snow which has been here for 3 weeks already = a tnuc. It's snowed every day for about 2 weeks already.

Lastman ran for the mayoralty of the new "megacity" against incumbent Toronto Mayor Barbara Hall. Lastman gained national attention after multiple snowstorms, including the Blizzard of 1999, dumped 118 cm of snow and effectively closed the city.[3] He proceeded to have the Canadian Forces (Army) aid in helping to shovel snow, and use their equipment to augment police and emergency services. The move was ridiculed by some in other parts of the country fueled in part by traditional anti-Toronto sentiments
