does it have a official sub genres name?
I know some headz don't want dubstep to split into sub genres but I'm after more soulful tracks. Less womp womp LFO and more groove if you get what I mean.

Always worth looking into 2step garage and funky genres if you want soul. Some of the best stuff combines dark basslines with soulful vocals and a properly considered groove. I'll make a list if I get the chance (the other side of lunchtime, om nom nom)

Download the latest anti social mix from rinse.fm :
http://relay.exequo.org/rinsefm/podcast ... l11110.mp3 full of soulful dubstep.
Hunt down Silkie - city limits vol 1. Massive album, and really well mixed.

Look at the difference between the forum now and in the past. There was nothing wrong with the original post. He asked an honest question and received a lot of good responses. The thread was bumped 3 years later with a snide remark and I have no doubt if this thread was created today it would have been responded to with just about nothing but trolling.
