The Sound
Late Nights
12" Vinyl and digital released February 2010
Aquatic Lab kick of 2010 with an already established club anthem. Cluekid’s remake of Reggie Stepper’s ‘Drum Pan Sound’ strikes heavy with a ruff and rugged bassline that rolls nicely under the familiar melody & vocal hooks of the original. The drums on this one are clean, precise & ten tonne.
The flip features an old school revivalist joint with the palette borrowing from Jungle. ‘Late Nights’ brings forth quality production techniques, from the crisp percussion to the warm massively padded bassline. Essential.

We have been getting tremendous feedback on this release.
Just to clarify a few common questions:
1. The original track was entitled 'drum pan sound'
2. It’s not a ‘bootleg’ - we have reached out to both Steely & Clevie and their publishers EMI and received approval to release this track as a mash-up.
3. Yes its out on iTunes, was delayed a little while but available since April 5

always good to hear more Clue and these are no exception, guy is seriously underrated

looking forward to the cluekid album, underrated producer imo. apart from sandsnake obviously
