Got a new one yesterday!
It's a butterfly at the top of my back with 'A fresh start. Live in the moment' in kanji going down my spine, cherry blossoms coming off it.
Realised not long ago I was being too down about everything, I had spent too long thinking 'what if?'
Pleased with how it turned out, just looking forward to it healing so I can see how it really looks with all the shading.
Edit: I also have one coming from my back to my hip saying 'Until we meet again' in french.
Memorial tattoo for my my best friend.

nice nice. yeah I wanna get one in commemoration for the granny.
and also these:

= DWENNIMMEN
"ram's horns"
symbol of humility together with strength
The ram will fight fiercely against an adversary, but it also submits humbly to slaughter, emphasizing that even the strong need to be humble.

= MATE MASIE
"What I hear, I keep"
symbol of wisdom, knowledge and prudence
The implied meaning of the phrase "mate masie" is "I understand". Understanding means wisdom and knowledge, but it also represents the prudence of taking into consideration what another person has said.
some ghanaian flex

I got one on my arm back in December. Had been wanting a tattoo for a long time but could not decide what I wanted. I ended up drawing something of my own based on the random stuff I'd been drawing for a long time. It has no meaning, apart from the fact that it is something of mine and belongs on me. It might give a hint of what I'm about. And that what people see of me might not necessarily be all there is to me.
Might as well be the first to post one up. Annoyingly, people keep calling it a tribal tattoo when it's nothing to do with those at all. It's also not quite as complex as my usual doodles as I didn't want to drive the tattooist insane. As it is, they went bleary-eyed a few times while tracing it out and had to restart, ended up simplifying it a bit more

I might eventually expand on it to wind down my back and side. I'm not allowed to turn it into a dragon yet though.

I want to get a tattoo in a few years, once I've finished growing properly.
Some good ones in here, and some utterly shit ones... It'd take me a while to decide on what tattoo to get, dealing with it for the rest of my life with my minor ocd...

Battle cat? Sick man...
I've got a tattoo on my forearm in Hindi that says "Kshatri," as a nod to my heritage, because I was tracing my roots last year and found out some interesting stuff...

Once I have my Degree in the bag I'm getting "Psy Mu" (Ψ μ) on my left wrist because my love of music and psychology led me to my Music Psych. dissertation.

Everyone was

when they first saw the original drawing for it lol. Its actually been doubled in size, the original was an A5-sized sheet (about 1/2 my arm). But they figured the details would run into each other so we blew it up. It took them as long to trace if out as it did to do the tattoo itself (about 2.5 hours each). They happened to have a guest artist in the shop that day so they asked her do it. She was really patient and good. If I ever get round to expanding on it, I have a better idea now how to go about it so I don't drive the next people mental.
A friend of mine has a sick Mumra (mummy version) tattoo done at the same place.
