Toast is cool when egg is involved, otherwise it should just be a nice slab of white bread.

Toasted bread would just be wrong. No matter how many things you add to it!

Toasted ciabattas and the like on the other hand...

White crusty bread thickly cut from a fresh loaf, with a good smearing of salted butter, several strips of Ayrshire smoked bacon (none of that super-market or danish bacon shit) *grilled* until it is about to turn crispy, and HP sauce. It's breakfast smack in bread.

A poached egg on top doesn't go a miss either :)

Toast and bacon should only be brought together if making a club sandwich.

White bread, butter and brown sauce.

I miss bacon. :x

Yeah, veggie. It's the only thing I still have to fight the craving.

That and a freshly cooked roast chicken sandwich.

They are flavour delights I've had to sacrifice, unfortunately.

no butter/marge with the L and the T, then your talking - got to be smokey bacon for full effect.

Yeah, I'd rather go without than try and replace it. That Not bacon shit is, well you said it, vile.

Beanburgers are pretty much the only meat dish substitute worthy of being eaten.

Most veggie sausages are rank, Quorn is rank, and tofu is usually rank.
