There's really no specific way to dance to dubstep that I've witnessed.
Hip Hop has pop and locking
DnB; Melbourne shuffling
and then you got Christopher Walken in that FatBoySlim video, but nothing official for dubstep...
or am I just missing out? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJqpDIrA ... re=related this looks pretty spot on, yet no name for the routine.
Don't get me wrong though - mix Melbourne shuffle, with gliding, pop n lock, liquid, throw in some clicker lights and you've got yourself a pretty dirty looking dance.
Anyone care to enlighten on a dubdance?
peace, love, respek.

there shouldnt be a specific way of dancing to ANY form of music. people should be allowed to choose how they want to move, how they want to express themselves.

Agreed, but you don't see people doing the macarena to drum and base do you? The question was not whether a person should be tethered to a single dance move due to a specific genre of music, but if there was form of dance taking rise due to dubstep? -Is what I would like to be enlightened on.
Post cool dance videos of people breaking it down to dubstep if yous guys gots em!

One of the things I love about Dubstep is that when I'm feeling energetic I can wild out and dance to each beat but if I'm feeling chilled out I can skank and headnod in half-step. The rhythms are more versatile to me than the manic hardcore/D&B stuff or pulsy four on the floor material. It's definitely made me enjoy dancing a whole lot more than I used to.

I don't think I would mind really if a certain dance became the "popular" one for dubstep because I just dance how I want regardless of what everyone else is doing.
PS Melbourne shuffle is to hardstyle and shit not dnb, right? The drum and bass dance thing is a diff thang

I always feel like a fool when I dance slo-mo to house, because I just dont have the energy or the moves to dance fast for very long. i like being able to dance slow and not look like a (complete) idiot
EDIT: gram--er

I typically do the dubstep justin. It involves heavy arm movements synced to the beat.

There you go! It's been so long since I've listened to hardstyle, I forgot it was called hardstyle.
Thanks for catching that
