as it says - Glitch Mob are touring the UK... leading the way in the westcoast glitchy bass hiphop thats been getting more popular of late....

kciking ti off at Matter in londn..... i would love to reach matter, but theres no way i can do the trip from Leeds... might have to make the trip on tuesday to Sheffiled to catch themm though its likely to be solo misison...

anyone going to catch them whilst their here??

i opened up for glitch mod in salt lake city 3 or 4 years ago
they were really good then, and i have not heard anything new from them since!
kind of thought they 'dropped out'

well, i rekcon theyll put on a good show, and im feeling alot of their stuff so cant see myself not enjoying it, if only cos its bangin and isnt arena dubstep/dnb...

if am hoping to go to the uk hiphop exhibition at the Urbus in Manc on sat day then missioning up to woody in the evening only downer is driving back to leeds at 3am ...

yeah, burnley saturday, then uk at urbis, red bull music academy and hudmo in manc the sat after!

i'm driving down from preston which is about 45 minutes i think. can't be much more to get to leeds i guess? i dunno what time he's on but i';m hoping he finishes earlier thant 3!!

were they really that bad? they're playing in sheffield tomorrow but it's two for one tickets so won't be too gutted if i go and they're terrible

well yeh, im being a bit heavy handed but....zero vibe and ALL OLD TUNES plus a few crap 'live' mashups.
this was over a year ago so maybe in a different venue with moar up for it people and some new stuff it might go off.

just dont think they go down well in the UK tbh.

Def very hype and "hyphy", bouncy, wompy bass... lots of techy glitching and manipulation, Lemur midi controlers, sometimes scratching (although I havent seen that for a looooong time)... they kill it in LA usually when they play...
