Got seasons 1-21 and was wondering what your favourite episode is?

I want to watch a couple of classics before I start from S1E1.

This thread is going to be epic.

One of my favourites was quite a recent one... Valentine's Special from 2008. Lisa and Nelson as Sid & Nancy was fucking amazing.

Too many good episodes to name but to name some favourites off the top off my head:

All the Tree House of Horrors episodes
Who shot My Burns
The one with the fat Micheal Jackson guy
When Bart turns into a nerd
When Marge gets her tits done

Well, don't know about my favorite episode but one I saw recently was when Marge gets mugged, she starts pumping iron and gets ripped. There's a scene towards the end where she goes buckwild and beats the shit out of everyone in Moes Tavern.

Yeah, actually.

If I were the OP, I would start around season 3 or 4. The couple seasons were pretty shitty.

Oh god - Simpsons memory blank... I'll come back to this one.

I can't watch the Simpsons now, just don't find it funny. After seeing stuff like Family Guy it just seems too tame

It's really come back in the last few years... learnt a lot from Family Guy, I reckon.

IMVHO FG's been falling off lately though... didn't think that much of the latest series

Oh right, might try giving it another go then..... But I hear you bout Fam Guy. Just seems like they've ran out of good ideas, and now every single joke it in is a 'like when [insert character] was [insert situation] > joke'

American Dad > Family Guy. Family Guy Seasons 1-3 are great but after that it got pretty tired.

Starting to agree. I wasn't sure about AD for the first series or so, but it's really got into it's stride now. Better characters than FG, which is more of a sketch show these days... American Dad is a definite sitcom, if you get what I mean.

My housemates all reckon American Dad isn't funny... I think they're all humourless retards.

AD is so clearly funny. great characters

Roger the alien alone is funnier than anything from the later seasons of Family Guy.
