Hi, i'm into putting on parties and secret events and have become interested getting my own sound equipment. Working on a low budget i am looking at getting a single active speaker for around £165 with a view to later on getting a second and then collecting subs. For my first active speaker I am interested in maximum volume with acceptable quality (interested in playing mainly bass music) Any purchase recommendations would be much appreciated

how about this, it seems good quality for money, however as a novice i don't know whether its proper Music Industry equipment or the kinda shit u buy at maplins?

that being said i'm saving to get a pair of qsc k12 and ksub

The sound man I use has a spare rig that is ALL Behringer. It actually doesn't sound that bad considering. The biggest problem is you will get stuff from them that just doesn't work, if you get shit that works then you should be ok.
