Right so you've spent all night rushing your tits off and it's that time again - the very tunes you were jumping around like a nut to are now doing your head in, your friends seem like strangers and you have nothing to say to anybody. No sleep for you my friend and you haven't got that much cheeba cheeba to soften the blow. Pretty soon you'll be bawling your eyes out.
So what music is acceptable?
I find Aphex Twin's Xtal does the trick but leaving it on repeat will probably make you go mad and ting.
So what else?

genuine answer: utter silence in a dark room, eyes shut, whilst I lie very still and occasionally asking myself why did I do it.

I have quite a few CD's,mixes etc i've done for that kind of thing. Rhythm & Sound pretty much always makes it's way into them. Of course some Aphex (usually tunes from Selected Ambient Works, RDJ Album, I care because you do), lots of dub like King Tubby tunes, Lee Perry. All mostly minimal stuff.

The 15 minute jam 'Voodoo Chile' off Electric Ladyland blows 'Slight Return' out of the water.

I tend to lie in bed, take loads of downers and watch blaxploitation films, forget I'm watching a film and stare just past the telly going off on a million different thought tangents.

Radiohead, but I makes me want to die.
Although alot of the time I prefer to just be in silence, or talking shit to someone.
