Does any one use a mac when there playing. Ie, to broadcast the show. If so, what software do you use? Ive heard about nicecast, is this the only one? I should be playing on thursdays assuming i get the software sorted

that didn't work. Could only get a small file without the software. Wierd.

i've done shoutcast stuff on my mac... i used "Audion 3" and the Shoutcast server app that I run via terminal.

so whats up with nicecast?

I'll ill have to use that. I was just putting the feelers out to see if there was another app i could use. perhaps a free one.

Yo - I should be starting my show very soon too, in the past Ive used MacAmp available here - http://www.macamplite.com. Only thing is I havent used it for a minute, (I checked though and it will work on newer macs) but I dont remember if it does multiple streams as needed for the station. Its free and solid though.

Cheers mate. I've bought nicecasr now so ill be using that. I'll check that other thing out though, see if you can run multiple streams...
