everyone seems to love the krk rokits.

monitor choice is a personal thing, i personally use adam a7s for the stereo depth.

krks would be 2nd choice though, although from what i hear from people, they tend to make everything sound more amazing than it actually does (relatively)

try if you can to get 8" cones on whatever you choose over 6"-- otherwise you going to miss out a bit on low lowend.


(ow and look second hand!! save hundrdeds, just make sure you test emmmm,)

I got the RPK6's and as Om said, they tend to make shit sound better than it does really!
My next purchase will be adam a7s to A-B against the KRKs cause I know the KRKS pretty well now but the adams are just so much more open in the tops!
Amazing speakers.
KRKs to crank and dj through, Adams for clarity and whats really goin on!

i cant comment on Adam's as have never used/heard....

with monitors you do get what you pay for though!

KRK V6 series 1. good for everything, but theres a peak at about 90hZ that you have to take into account. Always remember, spectrum analyzers on the master are your friend!

I've got a pair of Event ASP8's I've grown pretty fond of. While I'm a much bigger fan of the new direction Event is moving in with the Opals, these haven't let me down.

Unfortunately the ASP8's are a couple years discontinued and my rep says there aren't any more parts available for em either. Guess I should start saving my nickels and dimes for a pair of Opals. Those things are clean. Will have to keep the ASP's around though, kick ass bottom end.

i use a pair of bose headphones and some shit altec lansing computer speakers
i work between those
then again my tunes might sound like complete ass

I use the Adam A7's and they're dope. got really nice tops and are very true to whats going on. i love em.
