What's the dealage? It seems that Chase and Status have been keeping busy making huge crossover moves lately. I was blown away when I heard the two tracks they produced for Rhianna last year. Then while checking out Hipsteroverkill (if anyone knows how to embed links into text, please let me know) I find Nicki Manaj throwing jabs on Chase and Status' "Saxon".
This track apparently dropped last fall. Nonetheless, it still makes me wonder about the future of dubstep as it continues to become exposed to the masses.
Shouts out to Emalkay for speaking on how dubstep is continuing to "explode in popularity" here in the state.

I would rather just hear the tune without the lame vocals over the top.

yeah that was a legitimate big tune at one point... with the vocals it's just one more piece of pop novelty trash.

To me it only makes sense. Ive been a hiphop cat since i was a kid and dubstep is the first electronic music that i truely vibed with rhythmically. Throw in extra heavy bass and fuckin im hooked. I cant see your average american emcees embracing dubstep but there will surely be cats that come up. My boy Elijah Divine spits killa over dnb and dubstep up in New England. Ghetto beats and heavy bass sound good with an emcee that can handle they business.
