i disagree about him being one of the few hip hop artists worth listening to but I like Immortal technique- Industrial Revolution is on one of my imaginary best of lists.

A mate copied me Revolutionary volume 2, thinking I'd
be feeling the nasty vibes. And she was right!! Wasn't
impressed enough to persue any of his other releases
though, but then I do f*cking Hate 99% of US Hip Hop!

This should be in other music, but shit... just started getting into this guy. It is all about Peruvian Cocaine and The Poverty Of Philosophy. Genius lyrics, loving the andean sound on the beat for Peruvian Cocaine too.

Not a big fan of Immortal Technique. The beats are pretty flat to be honest and he sounds like he wishes he was in Killarmy. A few of his tracks were okay but, overall not feeling it.

I have to say this is one of the most comprehensive listings of good undergroundy hip hop i've seen in a while!
I'd personaly lace in a dose of Aim, Dead Prez, RJD2, Company Flow, Necro, DJ Premier, Gangstarr and Big L

Hip hop is no longer my flavour of choice, about a year ago (mayb?) I started tuning into Dubstep.FM in the day times, before finding the 'Archive' I would record tracks, not knowing a name of anything just proper hype about this new form of music.. Since then i've listened to more and more sets and stations, seen more and more interest, been pscyhosed by more and more heavy youtube video's and generaly read up more (whilst at work)
I've been an amature producer for a li'l bit, now i'm starting to get the sound I like out of Reason, without being to pigeon-holeable I'd probably say the closest resembalance, or thing thats struck the biggest chord with me would be a Tyrant and Sloppy Jackson set on aforementioned radio station.
Anyway i'm just throwing this out there as i'd like to know how other people got into what and when they got into whatever, Hopefully get to know some of you guys instead of just lurking
Look forward to your replies, Peace
