Recently I been feelin a lot of detroit sounds and diggin old and new. Tbh there's a lot of stuff I like and a lot which bores me to shit as well. So far I'm liking a blend of detroit hip/hop, soulful/vocal house etc. Stuff like Blake Baxter, Abe Duque, Moodymann, Aaron Carl, Omar-S (love the sidetrax stuff ), Andres, Theo Parrish. I'm less into the super deep ambientish stuff and I'm looking in Hardwax, Juno etc but coming up with a lot of that. So any recommendations to more artists, labels would be cool thanx

Detroit Techno- for me was the most innovative style of dance music to emerge in the mid 80s fusing sophisticated sounds, heavy drum programming and funk driven rugged b-lines. Also a little known fact is that this music became a staple for jazz dancers during this time when you hear it you can tell why.
I truly believe these and other old skool jams will be coming back, I have heard some of them sampled and of course the bopstar track is based on Nude photo- It would be great to hear some of these old skool bangers along side the Fingarpint Nightimes and Geeneus yellowtails of today...
There are tons of tracks many already mentioned but here are some more lps\artist\tracks to check for some of these are true faves
