SAMA ROOTS (BASSWEIGHT CARNIVAL) ****2 HOUR SET****
WITH PERCY DREAD (Natural-Ites)
Former member of the influential Nottingham Roots group The Natural-Ites, Dread's brooding and conscious style places him amongst some of the UK's very best Roots vocalists. A regular performer at Bassweight Carnival, his melancholic melodies forged with the direct and rootical sound of SAMA ROOTS always delivers a deeply affecting sound.
KIDLIB (Concrete Jungle/ Junglist Alliance)
The Dubplate Specialist that is KIDLIB hits Ethio with a prolific output of his own productions. Ranging from Dubstep to Ragga Jungle alongside a flurry of unique and mashed up remixes of artists from Erykah Badu to Eartha Kitt.
DARKSTORM (BAD TASTE) - ****2 HOUR SET****
Founder of Sheffield’s Bad Taste Records which in the past two years has given rise to a whole host of homegrown talent. His recent album, Gateway Shuffle is a precise and measured example of DARKSTORM’S own production skills put to work with the rising lyricists coming out of the Steel City.
KRASCHENBERN (SUBTITLE)
Repping the monthly ‘Subtitle’ night and pushing the darker and heavier sounds of Dubstep, KRASCHENBERN looks set to unleash the rawness for all stamina massive!
