I bought a microkorg but haven't played with it for a while. It might be interesting to see what I can make of it.
I like your art work as well

Start off with the init patch (shift + 3, display goes like iNi you press enter and voilĂ ) then put the microkorg in layer mode, for each voice turn up the vol of osc2s (mixer section) then start fiddling around with the oscillator controls, osc2 has some sync possibilities, x-mod is a good one. Try experimenting with the detune settings and tuning ones as well. Go to the filter section, 24L is good for bass-y material, go for the 12L if you want some squealing thing, cutoff all the way down and Fmod envelope all way up, then go to fmod section and mess with the attack setting. set it high and keep the keys pressed so you can hear how the filter sweeps and then decide for what kind of sound to go and re-adjust fmod envelope and filter settings to match the tone you want. you may want to tweak the amp eg as well. in the amp section there is a gnarly distortion switch, try turning it on. Then you may go for the effects or straight to the mod matrix, try assigning LFOs and AEG/FEG to something like CUT, RES and do that for both layers you're playing with, damn microkorg is fkin FUN !!!

lfo > filter cutoff
modwheel > lfo rate
