Preparing for release

I've got my final master for tunes in .wav format, and I have a PDF file with the mastering notes and information that I want to be attached to the .wav (such as artist name). How can I encode the .wav to hold this information like an MP3 can? There must be a way because online music shops have the option of .wav download which surely has the artist name and song details on it?

Could be wrong now, but if i remember correctly wavs don't hold metadata (artist, song info) like mp3s. If you still want the lossless audio quality and metadata you could always use mpeg4.

yeah, you can't add info to wav files. just have the files names as you want and add a pdf to the release.
or encode to flac, which is non-lossy compression and you can add the info into those files.
