Good tips/resources to help me get started?

Hello, I must first introduce myself. My name is Adam, and I have been listening to Dubstep for about a year. I used to listen to general house electro as well as some other genres, but since I live in Calgary and we are so close to Shambhala, it is discussed often and names such as Datsik and Excision are passed around daily. I caught on to the tracks starting with Caspa and Rusko, and moved on to the Robostep, as well as a lot of Euro stuff like Joker etc.

I decided I wanted to start making some tracks for fun, and I am not too serious about it. I am using FL Studio 9, and so far I have only created some samples that are quite nice, but are nowhere near finished. I was wondering if anyone could point me to some good guides, since I do not know how to use FL Studio 9 to its fullest. I am still a novice at the program, as well as other aspects. I was wondering if anyone had any good sound packs maybe? I am not sure what the normal routine is, but I am just asking if you kind folk could point me in the right direction for instruction and sound ;). I already have all the creativity I need, thanks.

The Production Bible, which you will find in a search is useful,

As are youtube tutorials.

Experimentation is good at this early stage now and if people can see improvements in your tracks yo're doing something right. Good luck.
