hey ya'll,

me and a friend of mine are planning on moving to Barcelona this coming Fall and I just wanna get a sense of the dubstep scene in the city. I visited Barcelona last May but at that time I wasn't as into dubstep as I am now, so I didn't go to any shows or seek anybody out, etc. Is the dubstep scene big there? Are there any monthly / weekly nights?

I'd love to start networking with some people who are living and producing / DJing / organizing parties in Barcelona as well.

not gonna lie, i dont see how barcelona is going to throw some of the shows that they have lined up, especially for SXSW. i literally go to barcelona every sunday and most thursdays. scene there is pretty badass, however the place is completely packed everrry single week with just people from Austin. All im saying, dont be dissapointed if you make your way from out of city/state to try to see a barcelona show and cant make it in, its expected for sure.

I live in barcelona, there's a healthy dubstep scene here. There's a monthly dubstep night here called B-Low, they usually bring some pretty big names.

I live near Barcelona and I produce dubstep. Don't know nothing about dubstep scene from here because I'm from other country. So if you ever wanna start something, just let me know.

I love Barcelona, been 4 or 5 times. Such an amazing city. Haven't been to any dubstep nights, quite up for going back to investigate though!

I' can't to get my ass over to barcelona within these upcoming 12 months, wish i didnt fuck up school in my last 2 years.
Such a great city together with that catalan attitude.

Every Thursday and sometimes Saturday you can listen some dubstep/jungle music @ Razzmatazz. Few weeks ago I think that Skream was played at Razz.

Another option for listen Dubstep music are every month @ Day Of The Droids parties in Sala Estraperlo! Breakcore - Jungle - Dubstep and other hard electronic music.

Yea Barcelona is a great city, i hear Razzmataz is a really good club as well!
