iv'e recently switched from fruity loops to reason 4.

i find reason 4 to be useful- especially the way you can automate things easier

what do you guys prefer?

The only reason reason 4 sucks is cuz of the stock sounds it comes wit. But if u stuff that hoe to the seams with refills samples etc. u got urself one powerful studio! A real studio not a damn pattern loopr. The only ting is that there is a big learning curve. Nothing is given to u in ur hands wit reason. U gotta tweak nobs left and right to get a good sound out of it. But once u undrstand reason its fukn :r:
REASON BASHERS ATTTTAAACCCCKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shit use both. Rewire Reason into FL and watch the magic happen. I am weaning myself away from FL and using Reason all the time. Now that i figured out what the combinator can do.

what a horrid thread

fl is better by the way. reason for the most part sound plasticky like a toy, unless you spend ages with it. and no plugins. and it doesnt even take up the whole screen. and it looks rubbish.
