Would you feel better not knowing what you're missing?

i'm not technically missing them if i'm hearing them at a dance! it's so much more special that way, although it does fight against our basic human need to own everything!

a tree breaks in a forest and there is no one there to hear the sound. Do I go to the pub?

hahaha i straight up NEVER listen to anything i'm not gonna have unless i hear it out at a night or tune in to someone elses show or randomly check mixes.

it makes me so mad knowing that i cant play it!! but its good to check out what other DJ's are playing too...so i mostly just skim mixes checking the style.

im more and more starting to listen to other peoples mixes but i still try to spend most time mixing my own tunes.

its all about hearing shit OUT at the night!

I like hearing certain tunes, that only certain people have and will never gets a release. Makes it so much more special when u hear it played and its interesting seeing who has that special tune and who dosen't. If some of the big boys aint even got it, kinda makes me feel better that ill neverget the tune

if we never listened to tunes we'd never get then none of us would ever know about Robotnik

I don't want to live in that world

helllllll no!

thats what makes nights out so special. its fucking pointless hearing dj's play the same shit.
e.g. as much as i love skream, his mixing isnt as tight as it should be but he more than makes up for it with the sheer amount of dubplates in his bag!

Sorry to sound like Norman The Nub, but who's 'Robotnik'? Youtube gives me a bunch of clips of the bad guy from Sonic the Hedgehog -w-

hearing tunes that will never see the light of day makes dub nights what they are

thats why everyone wants to see different artists because usually they have 3 or 4 tracks that are different from another dj

if everyone was playing the same shit, it would just get gay and turn into some party bullshit
