The Lowriders' notorious parties, DJs, bloggers and producers have been trailblazing in Holland booking DP favourites like Starkey, Debruit, 1000 names and Fulgeance. Alongside their residents they bring with them skweee and beats supremo Coco Bryce. Giving them a run for their money the airtight DP crew includes Slugabed and Ghost Mutt. Slugabed's squashed 8-bit hip hop and lo-fi mangled beat structures have earned him releases on massively respected labels like Planet Mu, Stuff and Ramp. 2010 has seen Sluga drop his 6 track Ultra Heat Treated EP and a stunning remix for Starkey, he is showing no signs of stopping with plenty more heat in the pipeline.

Coco Bryce came to our attention when he dropped a split 12” with Slugabed last year, full of crunchy hip hop beats, heavy synths and the kind of grit that makes DP get all hot and bothered. We are massively excited to welcome to Brighton. Since that 12” Coco has had releases on legendary Finnish Skweee label Harmonia and he will be dropping an EP for the Lowriders label later this year.

Ghost Mutt has been part of the Donky Pitch family from early on: his ridiculously sick hip hop + squelch + texture + glitch + funk + bass approach to beat-making has earned him his debut EP release on the new Lowriders label which will be dropping in the next month or so. After playing our party with Tokimonsta and Blue Daisy as well as regularly joining us at our monthly sessions at the Globe we welcome him back to the DP team for this monster clash.
