Grab an absolute bargain. Very reluctant sale. Selling as I have no venues or parties to use this gear in now I live in a remote part of Cornwall, and this makes me very upset.
This kit should be used! Don't miss out. Would suit a band, a venue, dj, parties, etc. As you can see from the picture the kit is in very good condition and big enough to suit many applications.
The starting bid is less than the cost of the class D speakers new. And I have not driven those at all.
The speakers have a total capacity of 2.6 K RMS.
The amps (including the Mixing Desk) have a total capacity of 1.4 K RMS.
Note all the figures below are in RMS.
Trust me this is a very good sounding, and loud system for the price. The Bass is excellent!
Kit:
Yamaha EMX300 Mixing Desk (powered) 2 x150w at 8OHM. Fully working. Note, it is missing a few knobs for the sliders. But this does not affect performance. Easily replaced if you care enough. I use the output from the mixer to power monitors.
Amps:
Dare V1400 (2x 350W at 8 OHMS)
M-500: (150W per channel at 8 Ohms)
Note: Dare V1100. Only one channel works. Thus 1x 275w Useful as a backup.
Goodman's 2x30 Watt Amplifier for Piezo Boxes.
I often use the Dare's V1100 working channel to drive the Tweeter Boxes as they are 75watt each. But you have to be careful not to over drive them.
Slight scratches on amps. I never bought a rack. With the money you save you could invest in one.
Speakers
Note I have only tested the class D speakers they have never been driven - good condition.
2x CD18 Class-D Bass Bins 650W each 8Ohm (£350) - hardly used
2x Class D CD 15- 350W each 8ohm (£299) - hardly used.
Generic 300w Mid range speakers with tweeters. These were hung from a stage and show marks from this. But work well.
2x Soundlab Red 8 Ohm 75W Piezo Top Box with 4 Square Tweeters
Crossover
Super-X Pro 4 way mono Crossover, 3 way Stereo. Slight scratches.
All Leads and Cables thrown in (these are mighty expensive to buy).
I use this kit with an active crossover. 4 Way mono usually but there are several options. The Class D speakers and the horns have no crossovers. Realize that you have to send the correct frequency to the amps, through the crossover, to the right speakers. All leads are provided. This makes this system highly efficient = i.e. more watts go to sound rather than get lost in passive crossovers (about 30% more). Read up about this if you don't understand. Basically you can isolate and control frequencies more, and thus make the sound fit the room or venue better and the style of music also. Pretty simple stuff really.
I will also throw in a microphone.
