I played a cave rave in southern illinois...

it was pretty massive

There's a pretty awesome warehouse scene in Sydney, Sook and I have played some crazy places, under motorways, abandoned TV studios, beautiful forests, open construction sites, huge steel fabrication workshops, 3 story carpet showrooms (this one was pretty crazy).
We've had a ton of clashes with the police, I think it's a good 1:2 ratio with the inner city warehouses where the riot cops have showed up. I learnt my lesson though (that lesson is, don't throw beer at riot police or they will tackle you and almost rip your arm off)
Don't get me wrong, clubs are mad fun too, but i'll take a warehouse party anyday anywhere

When I had a band we got offered to play in Greece which was pretty cool.

The weirdest and shittest was easily the club in Rotherham, which mainly did "bassline", had holes in the Walls from gunshots and a doorman who photographed you and scanned ID incase you were a wanted criminal. It didn't go down well and about seven people showed up. Rotherham is shit.

Why would you complain about getting gigs... Unless they're making you pay for plane tickets and hotel rooms and its going to windup costing YOU and all you'll get out of it are bragging rights, then I get it. Otherwise STFU and go.

3 story club-sized tree-house in sub tropical rainforest, complete with as much vintage visual gear your optics could handle. No I'm not making it up!

I'd post pics but they honestly do not do it any justice what-so-ever, was an incredible space.

I got offered a few gigs on the west coast and a big one in las Vegas, all expenses paid. They offered for me to fly allover the world.

But no matter what they offer I won't show off my three penises. No fucking way.

weirdest place i ever got offered was a gay bar in oregon...a whole state away and they wanted me to pay for travel so i said nah. i was 16 lol

lol i doubt they'd pay my travel but it'd be a good one under the belt and i've heard good things about austin

some quality stories ... i wish we had more free parties in the uk havnt been to one for ages

the last was on a lakeside in wales which was pretty mad 2 rigs 1 old skool n 1 dnb ... love the vibe u get at places like that b/c 99.9% of the people there are purely there for the music the othe 0.01% are too mashed to care lol

I played a Vietnamese mob bar once. I'm 6'5" and... um, most Vietnamese folks aren't.

The spotlights "above" the stage? Yeah, well - the stage had about a 6' clearance and the spotlights were eye-level with me (and that was when I was kinda standing with my legs a mile apart.)

PS - GO TO FUCKIN' AUSTIN! Love that place. The rest of Texas can more or less go eat a dick, but Austin is good shit baby.
