That looks to be the recoil from the shot to the left side of the head rather than a shot from the back though?

I was saying his head goes back and to the left. Not where the shots came from. We got crossed wires there.

If you watch the full clip it also looks like he gets hit in the arm or shoulder before he gets hit in the head. So she's looking at that then boom, headshot.

I don't see any reaction to a hit in the arm or leg, I see him holding his throat area
